Distinctive Ring
With Distinctive Ring, you can often eliminate the need for a dedicated phone line for a fax machine.
Direct Inward Dial Trunking
Customers may dial direct to any desk without needing a dedicated phone line for each desk. This can minimize routing time or allow a receptionist to focus on tasks which can be more profitable than answering phones. Additional equipment such as a phone system may need to be purchased.
Call transfer
Transfer calls to any local, cell phone or long distance number. The call may be announced or do what is called a “blind transfer. This is an extremely efficient way to handle calls and is very impressive to a customer. This feature is very inexpensive yet one of our most popular features to improve efficiencies. A special phone system is not needed to utilize this service.
Three-way calling
Many communication problems in business could be eliminated if a person would take the time to do a simple three-way call. As an example, if a point comes up in the conversation which is controversial such as “Another customer service representative told me I did not have to pay a late fee”, the representative could resolve the problem by offering “Why don’t we add her to this call to clarify so that we can all be on the same page?” Three way calling is easy to use and could become a powerful tool in your communication bag of tricks.
Automatic Callback
This feature will continuously (for 30 minutes) dial a number you have called which is busy. When the line becomes free, your phone will ring to notify you and will automatically connect you to that person before they make their next call. This is a huge time saver, as it eliminates the need for you to keep redialing a number. You can “tag” several phone lines in this manner.
